Anxiety

Up to 41% of the population has reported symptoms of anxiety as of February 2021 according to the CDC.  It is not uncommon and should not be a source of embarrassment or shame.  Symptoms may include feeling nervous, restless or tense or having a sense of impending danger, panic or doom. Although many symptoms can be controlled through medications, counseling may provide an opportunity to address anxiety using therapeutic techniques.  Together we can work on acknowledging that your anxiety does not have to control your life, identifying and changing thoughts associated with your anxiety and problem solving situations contributing to your anxiety.
